USED MATERIALS
Outdoor products from ALTANURA are characterised by robustness and the highest quality. Our outdoor furnitures are made appr. of 1/4 metal, 1/4 wood and 1/2 upholstered parts. 95% of the metal components are crafted from aluminium, treated with high-quality powder sintering to ensure exceptional durability and a long lifespan for our products. The product also contains about 5% stainless steel parts.
We use certified FSC raw materials from wellknown European wood merchant companies. (Our main supplier is JAFHOLZ a 75 old company from Austria). Our furniture is usually crafted from tropical dark red meranti wood, which can be stained in any color. Over the color we apply 3 layers of special flexible lacquer, the veins of the wood remain visible.
Our upholstered parts are covered with 100% waterproof and weatherproof fabrics, which completely prevents moisture from getting into the mattresses. For our upholstered parts, we use conventional and industry-standard sponges. The outdoor fabrics we use have a 5-year UVresistance guarantee. We mainly use the MARINE COLLECTION of the well-known American company: SPRADLING.
We are using components from Yacht Industry, for example: fabrics, epoxy glue, surface treatment materials, cupholders with drainage function, wireless phone charger, USB ports.
